About the location

The Wetlands are designated as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) and located adjacent to Marfield Fen SSSI and the River Ure corridor. The site has year-round interest, but particularly in winter for visiting wildlfowl. The site is sign-posted off the A6108 approximately 2km west of the village of Masham, in rural North Yorkshire.
