The latest addition to the site is Brown Argus. In invasion years, Painted Lady can be seen, with Clouded Yellow in favourable years; Marbled White has occurred and the rarest species to be recorded at FGP was Camberwell Beauty, seen in 2006.

Moths

Moth trapping has revealed the presence of 180 species. Day-flying moths, which can be seen over the grassy areas, are Chimney Sweeper, Cinnabar, Six-spot and Narrow-bordered Five-spot Burnet.
